Aakash 2 to be launched in April : India


The second edition of the Aakash product will be delivered by Canada system producer DataWind by May this season, Telecommunications Reverend Kapil Sibal has said.
While responding to a concern during Question Period in Lok Sabha on Thursday, the minister said that the Aakash II will come with better requirements like "700 MHz Cortex A8 brand, 3200mAH power supply with three-hour utilization some time to a capacitive touching screen".


Aakash was released with much excitement last year. The 7 inches product has Managing system 2.2 os, 366 MHz Arm 11 brand, 2100 power provide, WiFi and can handle 3G locations.

The product, confirmed as the most affordable on the planet, though experience critique from all places. Also, Datawind has never provide the same to many customers who had reserved it online. Actually, it only provided only 30,000 Aakash pills to the govt so far out of preliminary recommended 1 lakh an eye for submission in educational institutions and institutions.
Aakash II will bring the same price as the present one, which is costing Rs 2250 for learners. Government will further subsidise the product for learners who will get it for Rs 1250 only.
